The wine we’ll share with Roseneath B&B guests 3 or 4 years from now is in the making today. Edgar picked the wild berries with his own special “cherry picker” only hours before the cedar waxwings arrived. Last year’s berries (now officially wine) are being bottled today, and we’re enjoying the 2004 harvest each evening with our guests.

Yes, it’s true: ventriloquist Sherri Knapp performed for us at breakfast yesterday.

Yesterday all the Coffin relatives within range gathered at Roseneath B&B to celebrate Aunt Lorraine’s 90th Birthday. She can hold her own trading jokes and the cousins are still kicking. Click here for more photos.

Harness Races, Agriculture Competitions, Midway, and Family Entertainment all this week in Charlottetown. Gold Cup and Saucer PARADE on Friday August 15th. The contestant wearing the colours of the winning horse becomes Queen of the Fair.

Ed’s latest antique tractor is this Massey Harris originally owned by Charles MacDonald of Cape Breton who has used it and pampered it since 1945!
